About
Solomon Aggrey
Solomon was born in 1949 to a large family in a small town of Cape Coast, Ghana. By the grace of God he was ordained into the Anglican Communion in the Diocese of Ilesha, Nigeria and moved to the Diocese of Jos.
He became the Chaplain of St John’s Anglican College in Jos, Nigeria. While praying the Lord showed him a vision of a very mighty church building and in 1988 he was miraculously selected by the Church Missionary Society In England to come and work with the Church of England, Manchester Diocese, for a while.
In 1992 he became a Curate in St. James Parish in Gorton, Manchester. Then the Lord told him to get out of the Church of England and start a church. So in 1996, Temple of Shalom Christian Church was born and Rev Aggrey became commonly known as Pastor Solomon. From 2015, he started praying and fasting seriously, seeking the face of God for the work he is called to do. God began to speak to him in dreams and vision. In 2019, when he was 70 years old, the Lord told him that he was training him for a new assignment. So he pulled back from the church activities.
Solomon Aggrey has a father’s spirit. He wants everyone to grow in the grace and come to the stature of the fullness of Christ. His heart is for the earth to be filled with the glory of God.
